Confession...
I started working in this faculty since December 2004 after coming back from United Kingdom. UiTM sent me to complete a master degree in London under a Young Lecturer Scheme Program. I was a former student of this faculty and am happy to be part of the faculty. When I was in London, I studied hypermedia and surprisingly I learned quite a lot while I was there. I was exposed to the new media environment and acquired the necessary skills to participate in the new media society. Furthermore, whilst I was there, I had the opportunity to join Cybersalon activities around London. Through these events, I was able to meet and interact with new media people and acquire more knowledge in this area. I believe with the knowledge and experience that I attained I would be able to contribute to the faculty.
Before I had the chance to join the faculty, I did work with a private organization and during that time I felt incomplete. I felt that I should be doing something else. And I found my answer after having the opportunity to give lecture in my first class. I believe I had found my true calling. I found out that I love standing in front of the class delivering the lecture. I feel alive every time students raise their hand to ask questions or to argue a point. I know that I have a respectable job and am very grateful for that. Not many people who are working can stand up and say I love my job but I do. My aim is to be the best lecturer and hope that my students will remember me as a great lecturer not because I pass them all the time but as a lecturer that pass them because they deserve it.
